I absolutely love photographing weddings and all of the joy from the day but there is something exciting about a proposal. The nervousness from the guy and the shear joy and excitement from the girl as he gets down on one knee to pop the question. Jeff surprised Alda with not only a proposal but dancing lessons! I'm not sure what Jeff was more nervous about before Alda showed up, the proposal or the dance lessons! Congrats to you two!
I always love hanging out with the Downey family and this time wasn't any different! Life has been a blur for them over the last year with their identical twin girls but they made it....their first birthday. I got a chance to spend the morning with them in their daily routine....take care of one child....and then the other. One diaper and then the other. Craig explained it perfectly when I asked how they did it, "it's our normal....we don't know anything different." After getting ready for the day we headed out for some more family fun under the West Seattle bridge!
