I walk around now and I'm constantly looking through my eyes like they were the viewfinder on my camera. Trying to find a unique picture, something that no one else has thought of. I find this very difficult most of the time but I had an experience in Mexico this last week on vacation that was very different. The second day we were in Cancun my wife was busy at the resort painting a ceramic bowl at the pottery hut which gave me the perfect opportunity to go out and shoot. Mandy and some other kid that were paiting mentioned to me that I should go up to the roof of the main building by the tennis courts and take some photos of the whole resort. They thought I'd get a good shot up there but as I got onto the roof I saw nothing but 10 foot walls that I was definitely not going to see over. Initially I was angry that they sent me onto the roof for nothing other than to see an empty set of tennis courts. Then I saw this lonely chair sitting there all by itself and I knew right away what a great photo opportunity I had. I tried a few different settings and angles and then used my circular polarizer filter because I wanted to get a little bit more of a blue sky. After a few more shots I thought I had at least one that I would be happy with when I got home. I'm happy with the photo that I ended up with. Hope you like it!
